After a very long week spent at South Garda Karting track, Pantano Team and his finnish driver Valtanen has been crowned Vice WSK Euro Series champions in the OK category. Valtanen scored a great amount of points along the Round 2 and Round, useful to end the mini WSK series behind the leader Antonelli. During the whole week the finnish kept fighting for the TOP 3 position of the OK category ending twice third in the the Finals. A very great achievement for the driver and the team for the big efforts putted on track in any rounds. Alongside him Ressico d’Aloisio has been very consistent during the whole week end, fighting for the TOP 10 positions despite some little mechanical issues that have slowed him down in the Round 2 Pre Final and in the Round 3 qualifying. Good experience for the new comer Morgan who missed the access to the Final in the Round 3 just for a penalty got at the end of the Pre Final. Sonny Smith ended up 24th and 26th in the two Finals after a quite tough week: the English driver did not find the usual pace being kept far form the TOP 10 positions battles. In the 60 Mini the dutch driver Keeren missed the Round2 Final for a racing contact and ended the Round 3 Final 23th.
Giorgio Pantano: “We are very satisfied for the result in the OK category. Valtanen really deserved this result and now, looking forward the CIK FIA World Championship, we are confident to fight for the victory. Good to see back in the top positions also Ressico who really deserved and a bit of shame for Smith and Keeren that they would have been more consistent and fight for their usual positions. Onto the next big one!!”
